Problems with my laptop

do a reformat. that's wut i would do. anyways, do u have any programs running in the background and have u checked for viruses, spyware, and adware? i figure your registry may have corrupt files and that you have tons of apps running. it could also be that you dont have enough memory in the system.

Dude.. you got spyware....

Download

1) Spybot: Search and Destroy
2) Adaware
3) An antivirus program (AVG)

Update all three to latest definitions.. and do a full scan on your system with each...

Post back if that solves your problem...

I found some virus's and removed them, it's still really slow and cpu usage is 80% to 100% at all times. Is there another program that might tell me what's running in the background. I ran all three of the above so far.

In addition to above progs get spywareblaster, a squared, hijack this. These are general removers. You may need specific progs depending on your problem.
Go to

http://www.wilderssecurity.com/archive/index.php/

and search the forums, run hijackthis and post your log in the appropriate place. The pros over there will clean you up with that log.

Get and use winpatrol after you're clean. It's a good alerter.

guys it doesnt look like a virus problem, its a problem with his memory or hard drive, or...you know? id get a nifty program called "memokit" look it up. Another thing you could do would be to defrag your hd, or lsat resort..backup yer files and install windows again...

Get spyware blaster to keep spyware OUT, then get Lavasoft AdAware 6 to get existing spyware off your system. (free version available for both of those) Then you'll need to run msconfig, and see what's running all the time, and at startup, the fewer programs you have, the faster everything will load up, because the vast majority of times, a lot of those programs are not needed.
