Problems with my desktop spanning dual monitors

GoingUp

Lifer
Just got my second 2001fp today 🙂

I have a BFG 6600GT OC card. Both monitors are hooked up via dual DVI.

Here is the problem that I have.

Due to my desk setup, I want my main monitor to be the one on the right and my secondary monitor to be the one on the left.

I have a sweet sistine chapel wall paper that I created. The problem is that it always starts from the primary monitor and then goes to the secondary monitor. This breaks the picture up because the right half of the picture ends up on the left side of the primary monitor.

Is there anyway that I can make a desktop background start on the secondary monitor and then goto the primary monitor?

Can I just divide the picture in half and create two different wallpapers?

A Must have for any Desktop spanning: UltraMon

It has a nifty Wallpaper function with many more options that the standard Windows menu. That plus a few more functions is well worth the 40$ - especially after spending so much money for 2 LCDs in the first place.

Use Ntools....

Right Click --> Properties --> Settings -->Advanced --> Nvidia Logo --> Somewhere in there it has the "display wizard" or something like that...and It will give you the choice of how you want to setup your monitors. It will list the two (it will actually tell you which is which) and the 3 different options to set them up (mirror image, span (one BIG desktop), or Individual (right monitor is just more desktop space)...just run that wizard and set it up and you will be golden
