Problems with my Cingular 8125..

Whenever I go in an elevator or go underground on a train and my signal gets lost, when it comes back my internet is lost too--it says something along the lines of "the modem has disconnected", and the only way to get back the connection is if I reset my phone, which is terribly annoying.. anyone else have this problem? It just started happening maybe a week ago, after I installed iGuidance on there.
