Problems with Mozilla Thunderbird

1) I see you can set features for replying to emails. Such as:

Start my reply above the quote ->

However, in the next menu down if I select 'Below my reply (above the quote)' that this doesn't actually work. Thunderbird changes it to 'Below the quote (recommended)'. This is not my preference and the other option is obviously listed so why doesn't it work?

2) I have 4 different mailboxes set up. Two of which have different email addresses but go through the same mail server. Thunderbird won't allow me to do this as one of the accounts I can send email out through but not the other. Oddly it wants to use the same login to send email from one account (account 1) on the other instead of the login I setup for it (account to, on same server). I can, however, recieve email through both of them. This is not an issue in Outlook Express.

If I can get this taken care of I think I'm good to go and will start using Thunderbird. I did run into some quirks getting everything setup though.
