I had computer problems a week ago and my computer wouldn't start up
so I figured it was probably the mobo so I bought a new one and hooked it
up and when I press the button the power goes on but nothing else happens
my cd drive won't power up or my 1.44 floppy my mobo led is on and my power led
but nothing else works my video card doesn't display is there a chance it is my
CPU??? or Power Supply i'm stuck......please help

Could be a card, RAM, or CPU not seated properly. Reseat all of the components and then try again.

Also, I did have a bad Video card once that did that.

If reseating doesn't help, take out everything except one stick of RAM, video card, hard drive and try it with that. Then put in parts one at a time until you find the culprit.

nothing at all I have everything out already too nothing happens i switch video cards and still
nothing at all i think it's the CPU

it's the CPU arghhhhhhhh......oh well time to go a step higher than my 1 ghz what should i get guys? 1.x?

Did you mess up the CPU core when you remounted the HSF on the new MB?
