Finally downloaded both 8.0 iso's, trouble is they're not giving a successful burn. Using Nero 5.5.1.8, I can burn them to cd's, but there's one lousy file on each cd that i can't copy (windows 2k says CRC error). The loss of the turkish readme and one rpm aren't major losses, but I don't have a clue why they're screwing up. Auto insert is disabled, burner's on secondary master, source is on primary slave. md5sum checks out, I've tried upgrading the firmware for my Teac W512E to 1.0F and still no luck.
I've had the same occasional problem with burning a few other cd's, in differernt programs (Nero & CloneCD), it's only one solitary file that gets screwed. This has happened on Emtec/Basf, Kodak and Verbatim media, so i'm pretty sure it's something to do with my comp. Any suggestions what's going wrong and how to fix?
