Hi all,
I followed Mechbgon's guide (very nice work there BTW) to switching my main Windows XP Pro account to non-admin and turning on the software restriction policy. Everything works great except that I am having problems getting my MagicJack (VOIP device) working on the account.
At first when I tried to run the software I got a permission error because the apps were in a screwy place. So I created a new path in the policy editor which eliminated that error message but spawned a new one.
Now when I try to launch the software I get an error mesage "MagicJack is not supported on your version of windows. Check system requirements...".
Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this? Or is it possible MagicJack simply won't run in a non-admin account?
