problems with M/S office suite programs after installing Quickbooks software

I have just recently (in the last several days) installed the 2009 version of premier Quickbooks.

I noticed that during the Quickbooks install, that one of the very first things that the install did, was to makes some changes/alterations/updates to some of the M/S Office suite programs.

Ever since the Quickbooks install, I have noticed certain anomalies when using the various modules of the M/S office suite programs. Such things as Office programs not wanting to properly close, Office programs losing their printer setting/connections, etc, etc.

Are there any known negative effects on M/S Office suite and other M/S O/S functions due to the installation of Quickbooks programs ?

Most likely there was some sort of Quickbooks plugin that you could have opted-out of, and didn't. My bet is if you browse your Office plugins and disable QB ones, you'd be good to go.
