Problems with Logitech Wingman (due to wireless mouse, maybe?)

Ok, I have the Logitech Wingman cordless gamepad. I use it off and on, so its hard to pin-point exactly when I started having troubles with it. But a couple of months back, I bought the Logitech wireless MX duo. I'm pretty sure that before purchasing that, I didn't have this problem.

The wingman cordless has a reciever that plugs into my usb port, and the reciever has a green light that blinks when plugged up but the game pad isn't in use. When in use, its solid green. When you first plug it in, WinXP makes the little "blink" sound, and the reverse sound when you unplug it.

Now, since the wireless duo, the control panel for the gamepad shows it "not responding" every 10-15 seconds, the time in between it'll only catch like half the buttons I"m pressing. Its unusable in any software. Just surfing the web, I hear that "blink" sound quite often (where it finds it, unfinds it, repeat). Yet, at night, when I'm not using my mouse, I don't hear it making that sound, so my best guess is the wireless mouse is interefering with the wireless gamepad (the mouse works fine).

Anyone have similar problems to this, and know what the actual problem is? Or is it definately the wireless mouse throwing a wrench into the wireless gamepad, and any idea on what I could do to fix it? If it is indeed the mouse, it seems pretty crappy to me that Logitech didn't notice problems when using more than 1 of its own wireless products. And yes, I tried setting the receivers for each in opposite directions and far away from each other a lame attempt to see if that would fix it hehe.
