Problems with Logitech G7 Buttons

I have some problems with the two main buttons on my Logitech G7... They seem to have become "sticky". When i push one of them (especially the right click button) it seems to stick to - whatever it is beneath them - and not come back up immediately... Sometimes they even don't come back at all until i push them again a few times...
I assume that some filth has come under the buttons... Is there any way i could fix/clean this?
