Hi Guys,
I'm having problems with the K7ncr18d pro's audio. I have Windows XP pro and using Creative Inspire 5300 5.1 speakers. The audio is 5.1 channel soundstorm. The manual tells me that in order to utilize 5.1 speakers I have to plug the rear speaker plug into Line In and the center/subwoofer into the mic plug on the motherboard. It also tells me to tick the boxes to enable this in the advanced speaker settings, which I have done. Well all I am able to get is left and right surround and some low mumbling at times with the soundstorm speaker setup.
Because of this I tried using my Soundblaster Live 5.1 card. It worked for a while, but I think there are IRQ problems with it and the USB controller on the board because in the device manager I would get an exclamation point by the controller. Eventually the sound would get garbley and unbearable, so I took it out.
If anyone can help me Id greatly appreciate it. Thanks
