I have a problem with my 24" LCD monitor. When I turn it on after it hasn't been used for awhile (more than an hour or so), the picture is ok. Slowly, pixels begin to flicker to a yellowish color (usually the darker pixels) and then the screen begins to flicker. Actually, it is not so much flickering as going black and then the picture returning anywhere between immediately and never. It seems the backlight is still on though. This ONLY happens if it is plugged into the DVI port on my graphics card (ATI 4850). If I plug it into the DSUB there are no problems. Additionally, after the monitor has been on and not flickering (attached to the DSUB) for awhile, switching it back to the DVI port will not generate any flickering. Does anyone have any idea what might cause this sort of behavior? Thanks!
