Problems with laptop build

Ok i put together my laptop today with the following components

asus z63a
pentium m 725
512 gskill ddr533 x2
wd 80gig
intel wireless card

When i powered up the laptop I got nothing. The fan goes on and i get a blank screen and then within a few seconds it shuts off. Any thoughts on what could be wrong?
