I just got a Belkin 2-port KVM switch so i can control my laptop and desktop with one keyboard/mouse set. Naturally, my wired USB mouse works fine. I knew I'd have issues getting my Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard to work on both, so here they are:
With no passkey, I can install the keyboard on both comps and switch between them with no problems.
However, with a passkey, the keyboard will only work on one computer, even if the passkeys are the same on both comps.
I don't know enough about bluetooth identification to know what the problem is or to see if there's a way around it.
Can anyone help me out here?
(I should probably mention that the bluetooth tranceiver is hooked up to the switch, i'm not trying to use independent ones in each comp.)
