Hey guys,

Seems I only post when something breaks...hopefully I'll be able to answer some questions in the future for the next guy(s). Anyway, I've been having some problems with KDE, specifically that it's very slow to start. A few weeks ago it would pop right up in 30sec to 1 minute. Now it takes 5 to 6 min. Sometimes it won't start at all and I get kicked back to console with the message:

Client 3 rejected from local host
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

Knotify: cannot connect to X server: 0
DCOP aborting call from 'anonymous.1364' to 'knotify'
Kdeinit: Fatal IO error: client killed

Once I log out of KDE I sometimes get this error:

Shutdown X -

QWidget:: setMinimumSize: The smallest allowed size is (0.0): (unnamed Digital Clock) negative sizes (2,-4) are not possible
QObject:: connect: No such slot Kwrited:: block_in(const char*,int)
QObject:: connect; (Sender name: 'unnamed') (receiver name: 'unnamed')

This second error message usually repeats two or three times with different "negative sizes". Does anyone recognize these errors? What could this indicate as the problem? Thanks!
