Every couple weeks Kaspersky will crash or hang up on the install of an update. Half the time this takes out my Internet access until I disable Kaspersky and restart it.
Also when IE8 came out, Kaspersky broke my Vista x64 sidebar because it blocked the registration of a file (without prompting) and I had to fish around for a solution for over an hour until I found it on their forums.
I know it has practically the best detection rates but my install is so fussy. Even though I have over a year left on my license, I'm about to uninstall it and reinstall Nod 32 which has never given me issues on several computers. Am I missing something? Is there something I can do to make run Kaspersky better? This is the only program giving me grief right now so I think everything else is ok on the computer.
