I am working on my friends computer, and we were adding a Radeon 64 meg VIVO card. I did fresh format and installed win 2k(performance hit doesnt bother him now) and via 4.28's and all the goodies first. Then i installed the radeon from the cd rom that came with the card, now i can get all the way to win2k logon and when i logon it freezes. Can someone tell me what my problem is?
Setup

512meg Ram (384 Kingston Value, and 128 meg pc 150 from Step-Thermodynamics
SB Live Platinum
Maxtor 30 gig
radeon 64 meg vivo
win 2k

You should've tried the newer drivers, and try taking out the Live, that caused me a few problems before. Now I think you would probably want to go into safe mode and remove the Radeon and then install the newer drivers (www.rage3d.com)

1. Disable DOS Emulation on SBLive, and USB hubs, in device manager to free IRQs
2. Try different RAM (kingston value doesn't sound like a good candidate for AMDs rec. list
3. Move cards/reinstall till you have no shared IRQs
4. Pray to God of AMD
