Just got an Intel D915pbl. Working with Antec 380W and Generic 550W PS
- P4 3.6 - PNY Optima DDR2@533 (samsung chips)
- Generic Matrox Mystique PCI graphic card
Summary: I built it up and it would not post or get any video. So took it apart for fear of bad grounds, set it up on test bay, and still nothing. It DOES beep at me when I turn it on with no memory in it, but it DOES NOT beep at me when there is no vid card in it - which according to the manual it should
All fans spin, cpu gets hot, led light on the board comes on. Tried resetting the cmos but all it has is a bios configure jumper. Took the cmos battery out for like 5 mins with everything disconnected and still nothing.
Whats weird to me is that it would show error codes with no memory installed, but not when vid card is out. I'm leaning on bad board. Chips, mem, and vid card are fine.
Any ideas?
