Problems with IE, media player and netscape

Just a couple of days ago, I began having problems with IE6 and my netscape 6 browsers freezing up on me. I would be able to load the browsers up but after a couple of pages they would completely freeze and I would have to reboot completely. For the life of me I cannot figured out what happened. I've tried to unistall/reinstall the apps. but that didn't work. Could it be something got messed up in the registry and screwed the progs. up?

Also recently, my MS media player 7 has completely stopped working. I tried to load a video clip the other day and got a "not impletmented" error. Anybody know what thats supposed to be?
