Has anyone ever come across a problem with IE and acrobat. the problem one of my users is having is when using the scroll button in a pdf file on our intranet. when they get to around page 7 the whole system hangs and has to be restarted. if he scrolls with the keyboard it seems to work ok. i have updated the mouse drivers.

IE Version: 5.5.0.4134.0600
Acrobat Version: 5.0.1

Any ideas would be helpful..

Cheers

I am not sure where the problem comes from, but it is always a good idea to save the pdf's on a local drive and then open them from there. IMHO the acrobat plugins are not good (for any browser).

What is the system spec? Which OS? If the user is using an OS other than W2k or XP, the problem will continue to exist or reappear (even after fixing it by reformat/reinstall). If using W2k or XP, I would reinstall Adobe & upgrade IE.
