Problems with Handbrake Again!

I am having another with Handbrake this time after it updated to the new version. This time it is dropping frames in the encode. I don't know if I missed a setting some where or if the input file is bad. It says something about an Mpeg2 tag botch (Which I have no idea to what that means) So is there a way to get it to work properly again? I am using MPEG Video Wizard DVD 5.0 to edit out the commercials.

^^^I did the same. Once they dropped the ability to choose my own file size I couldn't take it. I will use 0.9.5 for as long as it is useful. They can go screw themselves with that "constant quality" bs.

Adobe Premiere CS2 is now a free download (or it was recently, anyway). You could use that to check the integrity of the source file.

It isn't free, its just they shut down the license servers, if you aren't licensed legally you shouldn't be installing it.

I don't remember the update number but then it gave me too much of headache. Nobody on Handbrake forum could solve the problem either. I switched to VidCoder, never looked back.
