Problems with Gmail? Messages not arriving

I can't figure this one out, so I was hoping someone on here might be able to help. My undergrad offers a lifetime forwarding e-mail address; XXXX@alumni.ufl.edu

• When I set the alumni account to forward to my gmail account, almost no messages at all arrive (except email i send to the alumni address from my Yahoo account), not even emails when I sign up on websites, etc. Almost nothing.
• When I set the alumni account to forward to my yahoo account, almost everything arrives EXCEPT email that I sent to the alumni address from my Gmail account.

I can't figure out what the issue here is. Any ideas?

It sounds like Gmail is blocking it incoming.

I found that email from my facebook email address makes it through as well, but I actually think this may be an issue on UF's end. I changed the forwarding address to my yahoo one again, but the mail is still going to my gmail account.

Actually if anyone is willing to help me test this out by sending me an email, please let me know. I want to see if emails from other domains are making it through, try and narrow down the problem.

WTH! It worked, but it still sent it to the wrong address. Thx for the help!

Forwarding is still set to @yahoo.com
But it arrived at my @gmail.com

I suggest you review and set it up from step 0 again, assuming nothing.

Sometimes that helps.

Sometimes I have problems with one of my gmail accounts forwarding to my main gmail account, but now that I can switch between accounts it doesn't matter.

Once again I post something that looks like it's going to help but has nothing to do with the OP's problem at all. You couldn't do that more if you tried, wtf?

I should just go back to bed.

Unfortunately with the alumni account, there isn't much in the order of setup. It only lets me edit the address to forward to now, no options, nothing.

I'll shoot UF an email, maybe they can help figure this out.
