Problems with Gmail and Firefox

I've installed the Gmail extension on FireFox. It's been going fine for a few weeks and when I try to log on this morning by clicking the small gmail 'M' at the bottom right corner of the broswer and then clicking 'Login', I get this "Failed to log in. Please verify username and password". I've had the "remember password" box checked for weeks and all of a sudden this happens.

So I re type out everything carefully and it happens again. any ideas?

Have you looked to see if an updated version of the Gmail extension is available?

The same thing happens to me. But it dosen't bug me. I go to www.google.com/ig as my homepage.

Maybe u need to restart ff. Also, gotta wait a ~min. cuz i tried to open/close right away and it still said i needed to restart the program.

i've had that problem intermittently. there was a new update to gmail extension today.
