Problems with GeForce2 MX

I just got my Daytona GeForce2 MX 32MB AGP, and installed it.Windows boots fine, all programs run fine, except programs that use 3D or DirectX (i.e 3DMark2000, Quake3, AVI files in MediaPlayer, Halflife, Detonator Settings, etc).I set the driver to Standard VGA PCI driver, then changed them to the 6.18 drivers, and the lockups were still there.Whenever I run any prog from the above list, the pc hangs and I have to cold reboot.I tried the 6.27 but I got the same results.

Specs:

EPoX 61-BxA-M Motherboard Intel 440 BX Chipset (just flashed the bios to 7/26/2000 but got the same results again)
Intel PII 400
128 MB PC100 memory
Daytona 32 MB AGP GeForce2 MX

AGP Apareture size set to 64, then switched to 32 and 16, same lockups.

Anyone got any suggestions? I heard this problem also occured with eVGA GeForce2 MX Cards.

DxDiag won't run, and nothing else that uses 3D runs.2D runs great and smooth, but 3D won't work at all.

Please help!
Thanks.

Thanks for the replies.

I tried the Detonator 5.32 drivers and they work great! but I still want to use the 6.18 or newer drivers, as they give a boost to the performance (or so I hear.)

Mem: which video shadowing settings? all of them? I'll definitely try it.
