I think everyone on this board has heard about DivX movies, so my question is as follows. I recently bought a totally new system with a ASUS Deluxe Geforce III 64Mb Tv-out. Now i want to watch these DivX movies on my Television set but i just can't get it to work. My television stays black and i don't see a windows screen on my television. I think I have all the cables required for his but it isn't easy. The manual says nothing about how to do this and if people get it to work by using the manual then they must be reading things that aren't there. I have a scartcable, i also have a special extension cable on which i can select Input/Output. I have the special black cable delivered with the Asus(it has 4 tiny pins and a slightly bigger flat pin on both ends). I also have the black cable with yellow male connectors(with male connectors i mean connectors with a protruding part at the end, like men have things to put into something :):):):) )
Now with all these cables i just can't get any picture on my television set. So please help me out if you have a Geforce and know how this is done. I have installed all the software but maybe i'm missing something.

Thnx bigtime in advance.:D

Did you enable TV-out in the drivers controll panel and set your resolution to 640x480 or 800x600 ?

is the tv connected to the back of the card before you start the computer ? If it isnt when you start the computer the option may be greyed out.

Let me know what type of inputs your tv has (coaxial/composite/svideo/component) You man have just one type or a few types but I need to know what type. If you need help I can help identify them for you.
