Problems with Geforce 2 mx 64mb

Hi, I have the geforce2 mx 64mb winfast sh max video card. Sometimes the screen looks weird with dots all over it. Other times the windows start button has a weird image on it. I have checked and the card is way below the overheating temp. Any ideas on what the problem is?

That looks like artifacts, and due to OCing.

It is running at the factory settings

In that case it's very likely the card is defective.
