Problems with FIC MB & ATI

I am having a weid issue with at FIC AZ11 running a Athalon 1 Gig. It came with ATI Xpert 2000. When I installed the ATI DVD player I can reboot the machine. I locks up and the reboots. If I do a Shutdown and the cycle the power it comes up fine. Anyone heard of anthing on this?

I remember hearing something like this from ATI or somebody here, check the ATI site for an update of DVD player.
