Problems with external USB drives in WIn 98 SE

Has anybody using external USB drives had problems with win 98 SE dropping the connection resulting is disk errors.

I had that problem in Win 98 and Win XP. It turned out to be my overclocked 112 FSB. If you have an overclocked system, try running it at it's designated speed and see if it clears up the problem.

I have tried the Digital Wallet on three different computers with 3 different motherboards. The only constant here is the digital wallet and Win98 SE. The problems is which is at fault. Windows or the Digtal Wallet. THe digital Wallet is an external USB HD. Only one of the three computers was overclocked.
