Ok, I just put together a new system and I can't get a post. Power is definately going to the motherboard because the Hard drive powers up and all my fans work. However, I don't get any video and there is no post beep at all. I'm not sure if I have a bad chip or the if the motherboard is bad, though I have a feeling its the motherboard. I've tried everything to get it to work, including disconnecting everything except the video card and the cpu. I've even tried three different power supplies. I'm using two sticks of DDR ram from Crucial, and I've tried powering it up with one stick with the same results. I've also cleared the CMOS a couple times as well as removing that jumper and the keyboard power on jumper. Unfortuantely I don't have another Athlon chip to see if that works. If anyone has any suggestions or similar experiences please let me know.

Thanks

I found the gigantic post about the ECS motherboard here and that helped me figure out my problem. Basically I took the motherboard out of the case and put it on the foam it came with and connected only the CPU, RAM, PSU, and a PCI card to it. I tried both DDR and SDR, and it only posted with the SDR. I called Newegg and got a RMA number. Hopefully my replacement won't do the same thing.
