After recieving a new BIOS chip from ASUS (0801 I believe), I was able to get the computer to POST, and I recieved two errors along with two beep codes:

On the monitor, it displayed "Intel CPU uCode Loading Error", now I've seen that a BIOS update would do the trick, but the BIOS from ASUS should have solved this problem. The second display on the monitor was "CMOS setting wrong".

From the beep codes, I heard one single beep, then a few seconds later two quick beeps (which I assumed to be a different beep code error). Any help would be appreciated.

My system:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400
2x1 GB DDR2 800MHZ OCZ RAM (Platinum Series)
ATI Radeon X1600 Pro
Seagate 320 GB HDD
P5W DH Deluxe Motherboard
Pioneer DVR-111D

Have you tried resetting the CMOS? It's normaly neccessary after updating the bios, so I imagine it's also needed after swapping out the bios chip.

Try booting with one stick of ram only first then get into the bios and up the vdimm to 2.1.

I'll have to wait until about Tuesday to try these things out, my BIOS chip randomly failed on me, this time I'm sure it's the BIOS chip. When I get the new BIOS chip, I'll try resetting the CMOS and that'll hopefully solve the problem.

After resetting the CMOS by removing the battery and putting it back after a few minutes, I received an error saying "CMOS settings wrong", entered setup, then got into DOS mode then rebooted. After rebooting, I got a second error "CMOS checksum bad". Any ideas?
