Okay, so I isntalled my new hard drive in my x1000 laptop and reinstalled software and dirvers. But, now, my computer seems to think there are two monitors hooked up to my laptop at all times. I do not have mutilple monitors set up. When Ever I try to run any dvd software, it says "Failed to create overlyay. Please reduce your resolution and color depth." I reduce it to 800x600 16bit, It still give me this error. I did some research and have found this problem occurs when their are dual monitors hooked up. My computer thinks there is, but there is not. Its simply annoying.
The next problem I have is somewhat the same. In order to play svcd files on a computer, you must have an mpeg 2 decoder isntalled. Normally, all you do is install dvd software and Windows Media player will play svcds. Well, I did that and it does play svcds, but upside down! I have tried third party decoders but the tv show is jumpy and out of sync and plain suxs. So, can anyone help me out here?
