Problems with DeadAIM 4.1

I am using AIM Version 5.5.3572 and DeadAIM version 4.1 and it appears that DeadAIM is not loaded. Is there a known incompatibility between these versions of the softwares? When I pull up the My AIM menu, DeadAIM options don't even show up. What is everyone else using and are you guys having these problems as well? Thanks for any help!

either use:

1. an older version of AIME
2. a new version of DeadAIM
3. use GAIM instead of both
4. use Trillian instead of both
5 . there are more alternate AIM clients, but those 2 are the most popular.

1. I prefer the newest version of AIM
2. I am not aware of any newer versions of DeadAIM
3. I'll check out GAIM
4. Not a big Trillian fan
5. I know that, but this is my preferred combo. Just seeing if there was any other alternative than trying something else.

- the problem with using newer AIM builds is that you gotta wait for DeadAIM to support it. have fun.

DeadAim 4.1 doesn't work with 5.5, so we're out of luck until 4.2 comes out.
