Problems with CPU Readout

I'm having a problem here:

For some reason, my AMD 2400 is being registered by the computer as an 1800. Now, I went to the BIOS to increase the FSB from 100 to 133, but found that it was already at 133! (This is weird, because in the Gigabyte overclocking program, it reads at 100mhz)

I turned it to 166, but nothing changed, so it's back at 133.
My multiplier is at 15, which would put it at 2 gigs, but it's registering as 1.5 gigs.
Anyone have any idea?

It's so weird that the BIOS and the overclocking program disagree about the FSB.

Definitely sounds like your "overclocking program" is setting your FSB to 100Mhz. I'm guessing your CPU is POST'ing at the correct speed (15x133), but then the program is forcing the FSB back to 100Mhz.

What's the "overclocking program" you are using? If it is a program that allows Windows control over your settings, I'd think that simply setting the FSB to 133 in the program would fix it.

Do you need the program for any reason? You should be able to do all your overclocking in the BIOS anyway - have you tried uninstalling the "overclocking program" - or at least disable it?
