problems with cingular..

anyone having problems with their bill?? they are screwing mine up every month. they say i have run oout of minutes but when i tally my own bill, i have plenty left and i am gettting charged. wtf???!!! also, how come every other wireless carrier has 24hr customer service but this place doesn't?? pisses me off!!!!

sorry for being OT, and I don't have a cell phone in US,
but I must say its very brave of Cingular to hit the market with GSM/PCS standard, its simply better than MCI, At&t, other's TDMA, CDMA crap.

btw: does Cingular have any big company backup? are they totally new to the industry, if so, I am not suprised that they have problems...

they just bought pacific bell wireless, so I guess that's big company. I like it, but since they became cingular, I swear that I've been having more reception problems at night. And I get a wierd echo that I never used to get before either. Wierd. But, overall I'm pretty satisfied with them.

They just bought Southwestern Bell Wireless in Arkansas too. They just took over and I've only gotten 1 bill from them so far but haven't experienced any problems, YET!!!

what? they bought PacBell? so currently Pacbell coverage would = Cingular's ????

gee, no wonder Cingular is GSM then, coz pacbell is too...

Cingular is just a group of 11 (I think) wireless companies combined. Here in Columbus a company called SBC bought Ameritec and then they changed the name to Cingular. Same equipment...same staff..new name.

andy, i had pac bell for a week or two before they became cingular, none of the coverage area changed, so ya, that's why they're GSM.

I have problems with all of my bills... I keep getting them... I pay and pay... And they just keep coming....

if you call and act firm with them (after doing some research on my own bill for like an hour) they are very willing to help you. last month my bill was 300 and i was like wtf...i called and they fixed it right away...this month it was 200 and i was like wtf...they fixed it again. i just hate that they are not 24hours like sprint and vorizon.
