Problems with AX3SP Pro mobo:

Got this desktop from my brother-in-law just 2 wks. ago, started up fine at his place.

I cannot get it to start up-- thought it might be one of the jumpers for the power (power sw), but they're all set correctly according to the diagrams.

The AOpen Power Supply works fine, I'd tested it on my old Dell XPSR-450 mobo and it ran like a champ.

Only time that the power supply fan works on this new board is when I plug the P1 connector quarter- to half-way into the board. The Boot LED also lights up. If I tilt it a certain way, even the chipset fan starts to turn.

Yet if I push the P1 connector all the way in, it doesn't boot, the power supply fan doesn't turn, and the only thing that is on is the Standby LED.

I removed all peripherals for the time being to keep testing, but I'm at my wits end.

Am I missing anything?? Or will I need to shell out some bucks at CompUSA or newEgg on account of a gift that's not "free" anymore?
