Problems with ATI TV Wonder Card

I recently purchased an ATI TV Wonder VE card for my computer. The computer is a PIII with a NVIDIA TNT2 AGP graphics card. The tuner function will not work. I've tried every solution listed on ATi's site and updated all the drivers, and I am still getting a "TV player failed to initialize" error message. The only problem that should be causing this would be if my video card didn't support overlay, but I am fairly certain it does. If anyone could help me at all with this I'd greatly appreciate it.
