Problems with ATI AIW radeon and openGL in Halflife

Hope one of you guys could help me out. I picked up an All in Wonder Radeon yesterday, and I'm seriously thinking about returning it because of all the problems it has in win2k. Anyhow, in half life or counterstrike, when I'm in openGL mode, when entering a game, only one quarter of the screen displays the loading screen and the other three quarters show my desktop. when actually in a game, half of the previous quarter shows the game, the rest of the screen is usually the desktop or just garbage. Anyone know how to fix this?
 
Well, I had a lot of trouble setting up my AIW Radeon card and had some similar problems.

What drivers are you using?
Have you installed the newest drivers from ATI?
What screen resolution are you trying to run CS in?

Oh yea, I forgot. What video card were you using before you got the AIW? Did you completely uninstall the drivers for you old video card before installing the AIW?
