Problems with Asus

Is anyone else having trouble finding the files they need from Asus's new site layout? I am looking for the newest versions of Asus Probe and Asus Update Utility. Plus, I cannot find the bios revision 1004, which my A7M266 came with, b/c when i tried upgrading to 1005, i got an error message with xp. So i need to go back to v1004.

I definitly am. Its always that the site is down or it cant find the file I want. I just flashed my bios yesterday for my A7V266 and had to get the update I wanted from a different site.

I was going to try the bios revison 1005 again for my A7M266, but when I go to flash it, I get this error: "Due to Bios inner framework was changed, fail to reserve DMI data in EEPROM" What does this mean? How can I fix the problem?

You might also try their German FTP site here. For one reason or another the German FTP site almost always seems ahead of the other sites.

When you follow the link you should see the following directories:

BILDER (Pictures)
BIOS (Take a guess )
HANDBUCH (Manual)
TREIBER (Drivers)
UTIL (Again, selfexplanatory)

It should be mentioned that all files are English unless otherwise noted (eg. German manuals are denoted with "ger"). Asus Probe and Updater should be found under UTIL and BIOS\BIOS_FLASH_UTILS respectively.)
