I am a noobie, so please bear with me. I used Asus EZ flash to update the bios and everything worked fine, but on reboot, I get "cmos checksum error" and the option to go into setup or load defaults, I load defaults and everything boots fine, but when I go into the actual bios, it still says I have version 1009, but when I go back into Asus EZ flash, it says I have version 16. I tried again pressing f2 and having the bios on a floppy, flashed fine and then on reboot got cmos checksum error again, pressed f1 went into setup and saw that in system information it still said AMI BIOS 8.00.09 pressed f10 and then it rebooted fine without cmos checksum error, but I keep thinking if the system info still says 8.00.09 is it not updating the bios, why do I get cmos checksum error after flashing?
