I'm not have any luck running my system at 550. I'm using a 366 celeron chip that I purchased as pretested for 550 with Global Win fan.
Other parts are Elsa Geforce 256 card, pny pc100 memory.
The cpu and motherboard temperatures are always within range: MB is about 30-32 C and CPU is between 40-45 C. The vcore temp of cpu is 2.1.
When I run it at 366, the temprature stays in the same range as at 550. At 550, the computer freezes every 15-20 minutes or programs crash. At 366 no such problems. Maybe its not the CPU but the Geforce card. Someone suggested to make sure the AGP bus is at 2/3 not 2x. I can't seem to find in the BIOS where to change that. I'm not sure what else to check. I'm thinking of getting a faster cpu, but I'm not sure if it will solve my problem if it is not CPU related.
