I've read the poorly translated manual for this board, and it offers no help on my problem.
I purchased the AK33 second hand in the FS/FT forums, and I've installed it as I have countless times with other motherboards. I see/hear the fans kick in, the red LED on the board comes on, but I get no display whatsoever. I tried with another video card, but to no avail. I get no post beeps, and I've double checked the connection to the speaker to see that it *should* be reporting a post code if it's just a vid card problem. I've heard (and seen) that faulty memory or memory placed in the wrong slots can cause the video to not display, and I've checked that out with multiple sticks of memory. Again, no difference.
Is there anyway to tell if the board is dead even though it seems to have some response, or could it be the CPU that's toast?
Any suggestions before I consider this board dead as a door nail?
Thanks In Advance,
Brian
(PS, anyone wanna buy an AK33
heheh )
