My left speaker is making this weird sound - bok bok bok bok bok
It's rapid (about 5/sec) and never-ending but not loud, I can hear it only when close to it. It doesn't get louder when I turn the speaker volume up. I cannot notice it when I'm listening to a song or whatever. I just want to make sure that nothing is going wrong on my new speakers. There's also occasional weird, however identical sounds coming out from both speakers when I'm playing a song, but not when watching a movie. What might be causing the problems? Can anyone point me to the right direction? Thanks.
 
It certainly doesn't seem normal. I would vote for you to get another pair of the speakers to test out if indeed it is your speakers, or whether its your computer/soundcard instead.
 
Ok it turned out that I had my left and right speakers reversed. Now the new left speaker (was right) is making the same sound. Could it be my sound card?
