I'm having some problems getting this card to work correctly in WinMe:
1. ATi DVD player (latest version supported under this card) freezes and says 'copy protection initialization failed'. I assume there is a problem with the internal Windows region code but couldn't fix it with DVD Genie. It also causes PowerDVD to freeze and hard crash. WinDVD and Windows DVD player won't get past the copyright screens either. I'm using a region-free Toshiba 12X DVD.
2. After being in suspend mode and 'awakened', the screen turns blurry and overly bright.
3. No sound when cable or VCR is connected. The video capture function doesn't work either, saying something about vertical sync not being set.
Anyone with the AIW Pro having similar problems? I have the newest Via 4-in-1's and what I believe are the latest drivers (last updated in 1999). Thanks
