Need some help trying to troubleshoot a problem with an ABIT AV8 motherboard I purchased. The problem has to do with the PS/2 port for the keyboard, the POST executes, then stops at an initial screen which prompts me to hit delete for setup, or the TAB key to see POST messages.
I've tried two different keyboards that work on my other computer, but apparently for the new AV8 board I have, it would not respond to the delete key or the ALT+CTRL+DEL to restart. When the system initially starts up, I see the keyboard light up, but that's it.
I'd like to ask what you all think, before I request an RMA for it. By the way, the motherboard has the UGuru display that shows POST error messages, and it displays a number 25. I appreciate your inputs.
