Problems with A7n8x

hey i juts got one of the newegg a7n8x rev 2 reefurb mobos. i have an allied 350w ps. when i hit the power button the case fan (connected directly to ps) comes on for about 2 secs and then shuts off. the green led on the mobo is on. however the cpu fan never comes on. neither does the ps fan. i tried removing everything off the board even took it off the case but seem to be having the same problem. the jumpers seem to be in their default settings. any ideas

Try unplugging and resetting your CMOS. The jumper is next to the battery. Switch the pins for about 10 seconds, switch them back then try booting.

Double check all other jumpers.

What processor are you using?

nwrmind fixed it . looks like the board was shorting inside the case. its not giving any problems anymore.

If your CPU fan isn't spinning up, I would say that your CPU is overheating, and that the mobo is shutting itself off. It is worthwhile to get that working. Peace.
