hi guys. Im at my wits end with this new dell. This is my first store bought PC. I did not want to build one myself. I got a great deal on this Rig from the Hot deals section.
Anyways. The PC playes games fine. Q4 Doom 3 ect.. Great FPS ect... But when it comes to just looking at pictures or playing Wma's I get a 100% cpu useage in one of the cores for up to 2 minnutes. Then it drops down to 2% or what every again. I think its a sound chip issue. I have the onboard "Sigmatel STAC92XX C-Major HD" I got the latest drivers from dell. There still Dated 2005.
I have all the latest stuff from dell too. Chipset Bios ect.. What do you guys reccomend? I think I should call dell and demand an upgraded sound card for free.
