Problems with a Devil Monster 8500 LE

and have had nothing but problems with it. When I try to run 3DMark 2001SE the monitor clicks off after it runs a couple of the tests and when I tried to reset, my MB gave the bad vidcard memory beeps. After a few minutes it started back up though. I then tried to play Warcraft 3 and it froze. Reset tried WC3 again and it froze even quicker. Any suggestions?

System is made of Asus P4B533-VM mother board(onboard LAN, sound, and video), P4 1.6A, 512 PC2400 OCZ RAM, Artec 16X DVDROM, and now the Devil Monster 64MB 8500LE. All in a Maxtop Cool Case, fan in side panel and fan on the top of the case with 350watt PS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Nolan

Make sure you disabled onboard video and downloaded the right drivers, you want "Powered by ATI" drivers on http://www.ati.com - go to device manager and make sure your old video card isn't showing up, then try searching for it in registry and deleting all the old registry keys.

I had uninstalled the onboard vid. Per you suggestion I downloaded the ATI drivers and still have the same problem. I was wondering how to go into the registry and search for possible components left by the Intel onboard video, and what things I should be looking for.

One problem fixed though, the monitor does not click off now when running 3DMark, screen just freezes now.

Thanks,

Nolan
