Problems with 7VRXP! Help?

More problems with 7VRXP!
I specially paid more money to get RAM of CL 2.0 rather than of 2.5
It turns out that whenever I switch Latency to 2 in the BIOS, XP & 2000 both hoze up. Programs generate errors and ultimately the machine just freezes!
Also has anybody else had a problem with the computer not shutting down? I installed XP and the computer would restart instead of shutting down.

AMP XP 1800+, 512MB OCZ 2.0 RAM, IBM 80gb HD, WD 12gb HD, Plextor 12/10/32 Burner, Sony 40x CDROM, Zip, SoundBlaster 5.1 Gamer.

And what is your power supply? Could be a contributing factor, anyway.

Guess going cheap has its pitfalls! Might just have to run it at Cas of 2.5

The 7VRXP sucks. I have one too and I'm returning it for a MSI KT3 Ultra-ARU. It has issues with power management and, in some cases, missing capacitors.

Go check out the forum over at viarena. Lots of people are having problems just like yours. Mine is with the RAM and my GF4 Ti4200.

Tried the board with these settings and things have stablizied a bit.
