Hey Guys,

I reformatted my Aunts computer, and everything installed fine (drivers, windows, updates, etc.) except the videocard drivers. When I install the videocard drivers, I go to the ATi website, and select the proper windows installation and videocard to get the right driver (Catalyst Suite 6.11 which it says has the Display Driver, Catalyst Control Center, and WDM Drivers. When it installs, I get an error that says: INF Error. Video Driver Not Found, Set up was unable to complete installation, try to set up your display adapter with a standard VGA driver before running set up. Does anyone know what the problem is here, or maybe where I can get an older driver only from ATi, I just need to get her computer functioning properly she doesn't game or any of that. Thanks in advance and let me know if you need more details.

..but perhaps it doesn't support Radeon 9200.

..and actually Catalyst 6.11 is latest that does.

And Op, you probably can get matching Radeon driver form windows update, drivers section. It is same as ATi's driver, jsut without CC.

After the ATI driver unpacks itself and errors out, it should still leave the files in the unzipped directory, C:/ATI/support, by default. Try going into Device Manager and forcing windows to install those drivers. Verify yourself that the INF file is in the directory though.
