I just bought a new hard drive and installed it yesterday. I went into BIOS to do the auto-detect, but it didn't pick anything back up. I've tried setting up the drive as master, as slave, cable-select, everything, and nothing works. Right now i put my old hard drives back in the computer, but they are no longer working quite right (see http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=32&threadid=300616 ). Anybody have any ideas? It really pisses me off that I spent $150 of my hard-earned cash (very little of which i have) and it doesn't work. Hopefully someone here has had a similar problem and got it fixed. Thanks for any help.
